Ranjan has carved a niche for himself in the hospitality industry. Born on 29 th July, Ranjan is a big foodie at heart. He learnt the ropes of hospitality by starting with The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai moving upward to Royal Caribbean cruise liners and Michelin starred restaurants. He started his career as a Catering Assistant with The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai at The Chambers & Zodiac Grill from 1996 to 2001. Then opportunity took him with the Royal Caribbean cruise liners
(2007-2011) & then to being the General Manager at Yauatcha in Mumbai (2013-2014) Ranjan’s expertise to SquareMeal Foods led to the creation of two major brands Mirchi and Mime (May 2015) and Madeira & Mime (October 2016).
He is the Chief Operating Officer at SquareMeal Foods Pvt ltd and also the Director of Operations. His passion for the hospitality industry got him to the position he is in today with the company Apart from his role in operations of the restaurant on a daily basis he has firsthand knowledge of he is also self taught in sign language and created the signs at the units using Indian Sign Language In his free time Ranjan enjoys his work outs, he has also participated in Krav Maga, listens to music and stay’s abreast of the start-up universe particularly in the F&B space.
With a degree in Law and a background in Finance and Strategic Development as a Chartered Accountant, Kaitik Shah joined as the Senior Manager Finance in 2017. Today he is the General Manger Finance and Director for Squaremeal Foods pvt ltd, 2018.
Kaitik started his career training with Mehta Lodha & Co (Chartered Accountant) 2010-2013 in Ahmedabad. His ambition bought him to Mumbai where he worked Monika Jain & Co (Chartered Accountant) 2014-2016 where he was partner in the firm and his clientele included Gucci, Wockhardt Foundation, Bank of Maharashtra and the likes. He then joined American Tower Company in 2016 as Assistant Manager Tax .
In 2017 he ventured to join Squaremeal Foods because of his want to learn and gain knowledge. Kaitik with his skills in negotiating, team leadership, business analysis, project management was so intrigued with the process of restaurant industry that he decided to stay and venture into a whole new arena. He enjoys reading and is a big fan of bollywood movies. He spends most of his free time with mind games like Sudoku and Crosswords
